Web (provider) alias name

What is provider alias?

Web, or provider, alias name is a unique identifier which forms a piece of your web address on all Courses, etc. pages referring to your centre. For example a web address for your school reviews will look like this
.../schools/alias/reviews...

What name should I use as an alias?

An alias can have max. 16 characters, can contain only letters, numbers, hyphens, uderscores and no spaces. Best practice is to use the domain name without the extension, e.g. if you domain name is 'schoolname.com', use 'schoolname' as your alias.

Can I change the alias we previously chosen?

Yes, you can edit your unique alias, but please consider the fact that you are likely to lose your rankings in our search engine for some time as a result. Your previous alias is reserved for you and no other centre will be allowed to use it. You can always revert to your previous alias name should you change your mind.
